Rockville Metro Shooting Surveillance Video Released

The State's Attorney's office released footage of the May 18, 2012 shooting at the Rockville Metro station, where two people were wounded.


Commuters and school students cowered behind walls and newspaper stands, as the shots rang out at around 2:40 p.m. at the Rockville Metro station on May 18, 2012, according to surveillance footage the State's Attorney's Office released 

Jared A. Cannon, the target, and Wasima Gray, an innocent bystander were wounded in the shooting, spurred by a fight at Richard Montgomery High School.

The triggerman, Kevin Nguyen, 17, was sentenced to 25 years. Tavares Harris, 18, received a 20 year-sentence for supplying the gun.
