Rockville City Police: Male Beat, Robbed by 6 People, Church Guitars Stolen

The following incidents were supplied by Rockville City police. Arrests do not indicate convictions.

Arrests

14900 block of Shady Grove Road—A male, 46, was arrested for disorderly conduct Aug. 12, between 3:56 and 3:50 p.m.

On Aug. 15 a male, 21, was charged with first and fourth degree burglary, theft, and trespassing for incidents reported May 29 in the 600 block of Marcia Lane and June 5 in the 900 block of Wade Avenue.

1700 block of Redgate Farms Court—A female, 49, was arrested for second degree assault Aug. 16 at 9:15 a.m.

Incidents

900 block of Paulsboro Drive— A GPS was taken from an unlocked vehicle Aug. 13, between 4:30 and 5:20 p.m.

700 block of Anderson Avenue—Two guitars, and four speakers and amplifiers were taken from a church through an unsecured rear door between Aug. 13 9 p.m. and Aug. 14 9:30 a.m. 

400 block of North Washington Street—A backpack with a laptop, accessories and an employee ID were taken from a vehicle broken into Aug. 14, between 4 and 4:50 p.m.

100 block of North Street—A male walking home was approached, punched and robbed by six males. The victim’s wallet, cell phone and a backpack containing a laptop and a tablet were taken.

1900 block of Rockland Avenue—A home was broken into Aug. 16, between 7:30 and 11:30 p.m.  Nothing was reported missing.

600 block of Denham Road—A silver coffee server and serving tray were taken from a residence broken into through a forced-open side door sometime between 6 a.m. Aug. 16 and noon Aug. 17.

2200 block of Veirs Mill Road—A man was robbed in a restroom located outside a business at 9:12 p.m. Aug. 17 at 9:12 p.m. 

200 block of Rockville Pike—Police said a woman sitting near a parking lot was approached by a stranger at 10:55 p.m. Aug. 17. The male asked her if she remembered him, and when she said that she did not, the male reached down and took her purse.
