Krupica taught fifth grade at Meadow Hall Elementary School in Rockville and has worked at the school since 2009.

In February 2013, he was charged with sexually abusing a minor and related sex offenses. The charges stem from allegations of two 11-year-old girls who claim they were forced to touch Krupica inappropriately while inside a classroom, Patch has reported.
