Owner of the Rockville-based coffee retailer is 'disappointed' with hospital.

Rockville-based Mayorga Coffee Roasters will be closing two of its kiosks at Shady Grove Adventist Hospital, the company announced in a news release Monday.

Owner Martin Mayorga said in the release that he was disappointed and claimed that the local retailer had been replaced by another business.

"We appreciate the partnership that we had with Mayorga in our hospital since 2006, and we understand they are disappointed. We look forward to our extended partnership with Sodexo, locally based in Gaithersburg, to offer great quality and service with our snack kiosks. Sodexo currently provides several other services in our hospital."

Mayorga is a family-run coffee roaster, wholesaler and retailer. Its stores can be found in National Harbor, Reagan National Airport, Baltimore-Washington International Airport, Dulles International Airport, and Pittsburgh International Airport.
