Sarah Siguenza, Neighbor

  I am a sophomore at the University of Maryland, College Park, where I am a journalism and government double major. I joined Patch.com after a semester of covering the city of Rockville as my beat for a class. In addition to writing for my school's local publications, I also interned in D.C. over the summer for CBN News, where I gained valuable experience in the realm of covering politics and local stories. I also look forward to an internpship with The Baltimore Sun in the fall, where I will be using multimedia to cover stories ranging from the election to the Ravens.   On that note, I am a huge sports fan and support all of the Washington teams, even the struggling Skins (hail) and of course, my Terrapins. I am excited to explore the Rockville community and always ready to write!
