Potomac Man Cited In Friday School Bus Crash in Rockville

Police: Bus driver was able to stop before the crash.

A Potomac man was cited in a crash between a car and a school bus on Friday morning that sent four Fallsmead Elementary School students to the hospital, a Rockville City Police Department spokesman said.  Ronald Eisler, 80, was cited with failure to control speed to avoid a collision and crossing the center line, said Lt. Eric Over, a city police spokesman. A silver Chevy Cavalier driven by Eisler crashed head-on into the bus, which was stopped on Wootton Parkway at Hurley Avenue, Over said. The school bus driver, who was unhurt, saw the car coming and had come to a complete stop before the crash, Over said. Head-on Collision Between Car and School Bus in Rockville Sends Students and Driver to Hospital

The Fallsmead Elementary students suffered minor injuries, the driver serious injuries, in Friday morning crash on Wootton Parkway.

  A school bus taking students to Fallsmead Elementary School collided head-on with a car shortly before 9 a.m. on Friday morning at Wootton Parkway and Hurley Avenue, sending four students and the driver of the car to the hospital, a Montgomery County Fire and Rescue spokesman said.  The students suffered minor injuries and were taken to the hospital as a precaution, Assistant Chief Scott Graham said. The driver of the car, an adult male, was taken to a local trauma center with serious, non-life-threatening injuries. UPDATE: Wheelchair-Bound Man Missing from Rockville Found Safe

Ali Alhaeri went missing from the Fallsgrove Village shopping center on Tuesday.

Update, 2:40 p.m., Wednesday, Aug. 28: A Dickerson who was reported missing from the Fallsgrove Village Center in Rockville on Tuesday night was found safe in Rockville on Wednesday, Montgomery County police said in a news release.
