Montgomery County Libraries Expand Borrowing Privileges

The changes will take effect Feb. 17.

Do you use the Rockville Memorial Library, Twinbrook Library or any of Montgomery County's 20 other public libraries? If so, beginning Feb. 17, you will be able to do the following: “We want to continue to be responsive and accountable to our residents and users,” Montgomery County Public Libraries Director Parker Hamilton said in a statement. “By implementing these policy changes, MCPL will ensure that more materials will be in the hands of our customers, and not sitting on shelves. Barriers to customers who need more materials or need materials for a longer period of time will be removed.”
