Snow in Montgomery County: Snow Way!

A March snowstorm keeps some inside but work—and play—goes on.

Officials advised people to stay off the roads, agencies issued winter storm warnings and forecasters suggested that the area brace for a significant snowfall. While most in the area did not see the multiple inches of accumulation predicted, there was enough bad weather for officals to close schools, government offices and disrupt some services. He and his family spent the night in their home, where the temperature dropped to about 50 degrees. What about Thursday night? “We’ll probably go to a hotel tonight unless we get power back in the next couple of hours,” said Sanders. Pepco officials estimate that power will be restored to most customers by 11 p.m. Friday. Other customers…
