Rockville City Police: Man Arrested for Impersonating Firefighter, Copper Thefts, More

Arrests First Street and Maple Avenue—A 25-year-old man was arrested for impersonating a firefighter, which was discovered during traffic violation investigation at around 8 a.m. March 20. 14500 block of Avery Road—A 15-year-old male was arrested for disrupting school operations and obstructing and hindering a police investigation at 10:45 a.m. March 20. Leland Street and Maryland Avenue— A 29-year-old man was arrested for possession of a concealed weapon (machete), possession of methamphetamine and possession of drug paraphernalia on March 20 at 2 a.m. Incidents Unit block and 100 block of West Montgomery Avenue—Copper piping was removed from the outside of two historic building between midnight March 6 and 9:30 a.m. March 13. Rockville City Police Chief Terrance N. Treschuk provided some detail to the report of a knife at a school. The address in the May 29 report—200 block of Richard Montgomery Drive—is that of Richard Montgomery High School.
