Rockville 10K/5K Ready for a Run Through King Farm
Expect runners and road closures on Sunday morning.
While the New York City Marathon is off, Hurricane Sandy’s much less devastating damage in Rockville will not deter runners in King Farm on Sunday as they take to the course for the 37th annual Rockville 10K/5K. There is still time to register for the county’s oldest annual race. Here’s how: The 10K race begins at 8:30 a.m., followed by the 5K, 10 to 15 minutes later. Runners are encouraged to arrive before 8 a.m. The start and finish line of the course is within walking distance of the Shady Grove Metro station at King Farm Village Center.
