Montgomery County ranks as the 12th richest county in America based on 2010 Census Bureau data, according to a report by MainStreet.com. County residents have a median household income of $89,155 and the median value of owner-occupied homes was $482,900 from 2006-2010. The national average for median household income is $49,445. "More than half of the county’s population has a bachelor’s degree or higher and the home values in this area are astounding," according to the report.
