Friends and family gathered at Strathmore on Friday to celebrate the Class of 2011.

Rockville High School gave a grand sendoff to graduates as families, friends and faculty gathered on Friday morning at the  Music Center at Strathmore in North Bethesda for commencement. Thomas E. Perez, Assistant Attorney General for the Civil Rights Division of the United States Department of Justice, congratulated the graduates on their achievements and the bright future that awaits them. Rockville High's Class of 2011 has been awarded nearly $4 million in scholarships.
