Glenview Hosts Rockville Art League's Juried Members' Show
Works in media from acrylics to wood are on display through May 30 at the Rockville Civic Center.
Glenview Mansion at Rockville Civic Center Park is hosting a juried show of works by members of the Rockville Art League throughout the month of May. Artwork hangs in the gallery on the second floor of the mansion, which also provides views of the estate's expansive grounds from balconies flanking the gallery space. The judge for this juried exhibit was Jose Dominquez, the executive director of the Pyramid Atlantic Art Center in Silver Spring. The juried exhibit features winners in several categories, including oils and acrylics; watercolors; pastels, drawings, and hand pulled prints; mixed media, collage, experimental, and original computer-generated art; and sculpture and ceramics.
