Police to Charge Two With Stun Gun Robbery

The suspects stole a woman's purse as she attempted to enter her Americana Centre building.

Rockville City Police have obtained arrest warrants for two men who police say are responsible for using stun guns on a woman and taking her purse as she attempted to unlock the front door of the building where she lives at the Americana Centre in Rockville Town Center. Stephon R. Summer, 28, and Terrance J. Walker, 27, will face charges of one count each of armed robbery and second-degree assault and four counts of credit card crimes, according to a City of Rockville news release. The men have pleaded guilty to multiple robberies in Washington, D.C. where they are currently being held in federal prison. Police Announce Reward in Stun Gun Robbery

Crime Solvers reward is $1,000 for information about the attack at Americana Centre.

Rockville City Police on Monday announced that Crime Solvers of Montgomery County, Maryland, Inc. is offering a $1,000 reward for anyone with information leading to an arrest and conviction in a case in which two men used an electroshock weapon on a Rockville woman and stole her purse. The incident occurred just before 12:30 a.m on May 25 as the victim, a 28-year-old woman, attempted to unlock the door to her building at the Americana Centre apartments on Monroe Street. The woman received minor burns to her neck, chest and arm, police said. On June 3, police released photos taken from surveillance footage of the suspects at stores in Clinton and Capitol Heights where the suspects used the victim’s credit cards following the attack.
