Two Charged in Armed Carjacking in Rockville
Police say the suspects were foiled by an inability to drive 'stick.'
Two men have been arrested in connection with a Sunday night armed carjacking in Rockville's College Gardens neighborhood. Jose Maria Deduque, 20, of the 8500 block of Victory Lane in Potomac, and Kwajo Oteng-Agipong, 21, of Washington, DC, have been charged with armed carjacking, conspiracy to commit armed carjacking and motor vehicle theft after police say they threatened a food delivery worker and attempted to steal his car. A food delivery driver and his passenger were making a delivery stop in the 1600 block of Yale Place in Rockville around 8:50 p.m. Sunday, according to a Montgomery County police report.
