Strathmore presents a lively and diverse program of art exhibitions, concerts and performing arts programs, as wellMore as literary lectures and events. Artistic offerings presented in the Music Center include world-class performances by major national folk, blues, pop, jazz and classical music artists.

Strathmore is home to  the Baltimore Symphony Orchestra at Strathmore, National Philharmonic, Washington Performing Arts Society, Levine School of Music, CityDance Ensemble, Maryland Classic Youth Orchestras and interPLAY; see the Strathmore website for schedule information. The Prelude Cafe is open for breakfast, lunch, afternoon snacks and pre-concert meals. The Strathmore Tea Room is open on Tuesdays and Wednesdays. Strathmore is accessible from the Grosvenor/Strathmore Metro stop and via car, with a parking structure across the street. 

Dynamite Gymnastic Center

Dynamite Gymnastic Center trains gymnasts of all ages in a 15,000 square foot facility. Preschool children have aMore specially designated 3,000 square foot area equipped with specially-designed equipment. The rest of the facility has an Olympic-level apparatus for Women's Artistic Gymnastics as well as trampoline and tumbling.

Other equipment includes Janssen-Fritsen vault table and beam, united beam, elite bar sets, strap bar, united spring floor, trampoline, Ross rebound double-minis, 50 foot united rod floor and 60-foot Powertac. There is also a  lounge with viewing area, free Wi-Fi and cable TV. The pro shop features Quantum leotards.

Classes are divided into nine groups. The youngest group is Sparklers for 18 months to three years. Poppers are for three to four year olds. Firecrackers, four to five, come next. Then there is Snaps, for children five to six. TNT is for five to nine year olds.

Girls seven and older are in the Rockets group. There is a second TNT groups for boys and girls 10 years old and older. Adults, 18 and over, are in their own group. The ninth group is by invitation only.

Summer camp is offered for June and August for pre- and school age children. The days are filled with arts, crafts, independent time and gymnastics. Lunch and snacks are included.

Dynamite also hosts birthday parties that includes supervised gym play with gym equipment including a foam pit.
