It makes me wonder if there is a problem with how the exams are written. If a large number of…Read More students fail, it is reasonable to consider that the test itself may be a problem. If a student gets an A all year and flunks the exam, was the teacher too easy all year or was the exam too hard or confusing?
I have never liked standardized tests. They don't tell the big picture. And, frankly, I think the kids are getting burned out on all these high-stress, lengthy, standard tests.

So, In 1999 Klaude was arrested for child prostitution with a teenage boy in Baltimore. This is when…Read More the article states that his legal trouble began! I guess since he was found innocent of abusing his STUDENT that the paper could not legally report the middle school incident? He now, resigns from his teaching position, pleads guilty and is sentenced to 6 months in Jail. Klaude went on the run for 10 months. During these 10 months the police reinvestigated the case of the boy at Glenwood Middle school. They searched Klaude’s home. Found indecent pictures of other young boys and brought them to my brother in law to identify. Yes, there were other student victims. Also, as it turns out, Klaude was such a good guy that he employed some of the boys from his school in his summer lawn care business. Now, the same mothers that protected Klaude are hysterical because their own boys worked close with him. The Mom’s came to my Brother in Law begging him to talk to their sons, as the boys, as children do, were stonewalling their parents and therapists’. My Brother in Law had private individual conversations with the boys. Sadly, more ugly truths were implied. Needless to say, my brother in law was a broken man, he was so crushed to have been fooled by his close friend. They never spoke or saw each other after this.

Desperate, Klaude was all over the east coast while on the run and was finally arrested in Rehoboth…Read More Beach, Del., in January 2002. He served a year in jail and was again arrested for drunk driving in 2006. Klaude took his own life on the day of his scheduled hearing for this offense in 2007.
Klaude was a nice, presentable, well liked teacher. Klaude was also a pedophile. He could not control his demons. I don’t know what ever happened to the one strong boy who initially reported Klaude’s abuse. The case was never reopened/retried. I pray that the ostracized boy and his family received some measure of satisfaction from Klaude’s later arrest and guilty plea. What a terrible trauma that child endured, seeing his community stand up for Klaude, the pedophile.
Please keep this in mind as this case goes forward.
Don’t let history repeat itself.

Amnesia? It was the Board of Education that threatened to sue the County over the funding of the…Read More MCPS budget in 2011. Is suing the County citizens what President Barclay calls working together?

The Maintenance of Effort Law calls for maintaining the same amount of per-pupil expenditure. If…Read More there is an increase in students in the coming school year, then the county needs provide only the same amount PER-PUPIL, multiplied by the number of additional students, added to the previous year's TOTAL. The difficulties between the county vs. the school board & the superintendent arise because the county furnishes $2 billion plus to MCPS, but has no voice as to how the money is used & allotted within the overall budget. In effect, the board & the superintendent's message is," just give us all the money we ask for & be quiet.

One reason - never mentioned - behind this drawn-out (and not truly dead) attack is the United…Read More Nation's AGENDA 21. As the midwest is conveniently depopulated by the now constant, otherworldly storms, the masses are forced into cities - just exactly like the controllable, landless, penned-in sheep sought in large part by Socialist doctrine. Expect every inch to be fully developed by the government to its maximum tax advantage, and minimal humanity, anti-American value.

When I was down in NOLA for the Super Bowl I decided to give my Liver a rest so I went for a tour of the New Orleans Historical Collection. They are celebrating their part in the War Of 1812 and they had a huge exhibit about the campaign.
