They could take my DNA from the bite wounds I'd inflict if they tried swabbing my cheek,

Readers, the story above indicates how States Attorney McCarthy feels about gun violence. I wonderRead More how he feels about the monster that raped and strangled my 13 month old daughter and a battered/killed my friends 2 yr old son? How about the fact that he was sentenced (in the same MoCo court) to only 25yrs for killing 2 innocent BABIES! The same amount of time that Nguyen (above story) was sentenced too, and no one died in that case. Where is the fairness in that? In July of 2017 (after serving 18yrs), my daughters killer will be released from Hagerstown prison, free to start a new life. Amani and André will never have a 2nd chance, ever.

If it was a hazmat call then the fire department was managing the scene. The fire department shutRead More the road down. Mark you sound like another ignorant fool that hates the police and will take any opportunity to smash them. Lets give the police a week off and let all the overly critical citizens take care of themselves...lol
Mark Risk May 15, 2013 at 03:41 pm
Hey Schmoo....No one suggested getting rid of all police....But when they take stupid actions itRead More needs to be noted...I've seen more than one instance when they seem to have a total disregard for maintaining traffic flow....
Joe Shono May 17, 2013 at 08:34 pm
Hey Pisk...thank goodness we have experts on how to tell first responder how to do their jobs. YouRead More missed my point...Any police you may have scene were working under fire/rescue's direction, but its not cool to slam fire rescue is it? The comment about getting rid of the police was blanket sarcasm for all the thumb suckers out there who look for any opportunity to publicly criticize police. It is getting old listening to people rip police in this area. There are a lot of bad police officers, but they are in other regions of the country IMHO

The fees collected should fund all or part of the School Resource Officers program, which the CountyRead More Council regularly offers up for cuts when the economy sees a downturn. This would provide a regular and uninterrupted source of funding for this vital piece of public safety.

The Bethesda-Chevy Chase Rescue Squad's opposition to the ambulance fee proposal is well known andRead More we still believe ambulance fees are bad public policy. Although we were successful at defeating the legislation in referendum once, the Rescue Squad did not have the funds to wage credible referendum battle after the legslation was approved a second time by the County Council. This was compounded by other volunteer departments that felt the County Association should not be involved in this battle. Residents of Bethesda-Chevy Chase should be aware that the Rescue Squad did NOT apply for ambulance fee money under the proposal before the Council. Our Board of Directors is working hard to try and maintain a funding model that is substantially free of County Government funds and maintains local perspective in how we operate.

I think that given our background, we should give it to Case de Maryland to try and bring in as manyRead More more illegal, non-tax paying immigrants as possible. LMAO

"A jogger was seriously injured after being hit by an unoccupied school bus in Rockville onRead More Tuesday, Montgomery County police said...The driver, Tugjnyam Bavaa, 58, of Rockville, was not injured." When I read the lead, I thought that MCPS had purchased self-driving buses.
jnrentz1 May 22, 2013 at 06:28 pm
Agreed. However the self driving buses are a few years off.
Sm May 30, 2013 at 01:40 am
Maybe a self driving bus wouldn't have hit and killed my very dear friend! Devoted father and allRead More around amazing man!
