No redemption was necessary. Jeff Eng is a terrific chef, a good friend, and a genuinely nice guy.Read More He's one of Rockville's treasures. I don't care what some stupid TV show says: Jeff's the best. As far as I'm concerned, he can use all the skordalia he wants any day of the week.

Mice? So what? I know a guy who works in the local store of a major grocery chain and he claimsRead More that mice are present in every grocery store, not just his. I've never seen any, but it makes me not want to shop for groceries in any store in any chain. Of course, this guy is not exactly known for his veracity...he tends to exaggerate. Still, you have to wonder....A friend of his who is not known for exaggeration and had apparently worked in security for different chains tells me that it's almost impossible to control. Makes you wonder what's going on in the back areas and loading docks of the big grocery stores.

Orde, you are going by rumor from a "friend", which is far more skeptical than factsRead More presented on camera. In addition most food in grocery stores is in sealed containers and not exposed were vermin can consume it. A restaurant which presents itself as this establishment has is a gross violation of health codes. Especially if they do not bother to remove dead rodents and clean properly. You don't know what, if any care is taken in preparing the food sold. I'd take my chances any day with a national chain grocer over some flea bitten restaurant dive joint.
