<p>The U.S. Department of Health & Human Services' Fishers Lane location houses numerous offices and departments ranging from the Food & Drug Administration and Maternal & Child Health Bureau to the Public Health Services Commission and the Mental Health Information National Clearinghouse. </p> <p>There are 11 HHS operating divisions, including eight agencies such as the U.S. Public Health Service and three service agencies. Within these agencies are more than 300 programs covering a large number of initiatives. These programs seek an equitable treatment of beneficiaries and the collection of national health information and other data.</p> <p>The offices on Fishers Lane is the second largest HHS office in Montgomery County. The largest HHS office complex is on Parklawn, a couple of blocks away.</p> <p>The building is a secure building requiring guests to sign in.</p>
