Upscale Resale Thrift Shop is a non-profit store selling used and donated goods and staffed by adults disabled by persistent mental illness. It sells everything from clothes to books to household utensils and furniture of different styles and from different decades. All inventory is donated. Small items can be taken to the store. An Upscale truck will pick up larger items that are in good condition. Store donations are tax deductible. The shop has a volunteer staff to help with the sorting and pricing of donations, administrative duties, writing grants and database maintenance. The store is a project of Jobs Unlimited Inc., a non-profit organization incorporated in 1991. The 4,100 square feet shop is located in College Plaza next to the Montgomery College campus on Frederick Road. This is its third location since its founding in 1992.
