The Jewish Social Service Agency is a preeminent coordinator and provider of clinical and social services for individuals and families seeking help with life's many challenges. This includes the community at large as well as the local Jewish community. This is rooted in the Jewish tradition of Tikkun Olam, a commitment to heal and repair the world. JSSA social services range from children, adult and family services to employment and career help. This includes help with autism, senior services, hospice care and special needs.

The main JSSA office on Montrose Road, about a mile from the White Flint and Twinbrook Metro Stations on the redline. There are two other Montgomery County offices: the second office is at The Ina Kay Building on Wood Hill Road in the Fallsgrove community, just off of I-270. The third office is on Georgia Avenue in Silver Spring. A fourth office is in Fairfax, Virginia on Javier Road. The JSSA is a partner agency of The Jewish Federation of Greater Washington. It is also accredited by the Community Health Accreditation Program.
