The Goldman Art Gallery exhibits focus on the Jewish experience, identity and culture. Appraisals are offered by the gallery for a fee of $8 per item, payable by check only. The money goes to the gallery. An appointment is required.
The gallery accepts donated work. The work is displayed and later sold in the "Treasures from My Attic" annual art sale. The proceeds benefit the gallery and educational programing. Recent shows include: The Synagogue: Architecture, Art and Appeal; I Will Wake the Dawn: Illuminated Psalms; and The Coat of Many Colors: A Quest for Jewish Togetherness.
The gallery is located inside the Jewish Community Center of Greater Washington.
