Named for the 20th century literary legend who often visited Rockville and is buried in the St. Mary's Catholic Church cemetery, the Fitzgerald Theatre hosts performances for theater lovers of all ages.
The 446-seat theater hosts the Rockville Musical Theatre, Rockville Little Theatre, Rockville Civic Ballet, Victorian Lyric Opera Company, The Musical Theater Center, The Finest and HST Cultural Arts and other performances.
The Rockville Civic Ballet's annual holiday production of "The Nutcracker" is a longtime family favorite at Fitzgerald.
Tickets are available in person, online and by phone or by mail through the theater's box office.
A social hall beneath the theater is available for rental on days when the theater is not in use.
