Singer-Songwriter Bonnie Whitmore Featured in Concert, Workshop
Bonnie Whitmore will perform and lead a workshop as part of the City of Gaithersburg’s Singer Songwriter Concert Series.
When: Thursday, Jan. 23; concert at 7:30 p.m.; workshop at 3 p.m. at the adjacent Kentlands Mansion, 320 Kent Square Road
Cost:  Concert tickets cost $25; Gaithersburg residents pay $23. Admission for the concert and workshop combined costs $45; Gaithersburg residents pay $43.

Reception: Hoi Polloi at VisArts
Master printmaker and owner of Litho Shop, Brian Garner, curates this exhibition that presents a broad arc of emerging to established artists who choose to investigate the conceptual, material and technical possibilities of prints to carry images and words to the masses.
When: Continues through Sunday, Feb. 23; opening reception 7 to 9 p.m. Friday, Jan. 24

Theater: An Inspector Calls
Rockville Little Theatre will present htis J. B. Priestly drama. Set in 1912, mysterious inspector visits a family and it becomes clear that they are implicated in a young woman's death.
When: Opening night is 8 p.m. Jan. 24 and continues Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays Jan. 25-Feb. 1.  Friday and Saturday shows start at 8 p.m. Sunday shows start at 2 p.m.
Where: F. Scott Fitzgerald Theatre at Rockville Civic Center Park, 603 Edmonston Drive.
Cost: $18; Students with valid ID and patrons 62 and older pay $16

Hot Club of San Francisco and Cinema Vivant
The Hot Club of San Francisco presents Cinema Vivant, an evening of vintage silent films accompanied by live gypsy swing inspired by Django Rheinhardt. Appropriate for all ages.

Rockville Regional Youth Orchestra
Enjoy the energy, talent and excitement of Rockville's youth at the Rockville Regional Youth Orchestra’s winter concert. The Youth Orchestra has approximately 35 students in grades four through nine.
