Dawson's Doggy Dip
When: Noon Saturday, June 22
Where: Dawson’s Market, 225 N Washington St. Rockville
What: Bring your furry friend to Dawson’s Market for a dip. Dawson’s provides the shampoo and water. You bring the dog and do the washing. There will be samples, and local vendors. This is an outdoor event. Weather permitting. FREE

What: Irish rock band performs as part of the free Rockville Town Square summer series. 

Lox & Vodka – Jewish Soul Music Rockville’s Free for All in the Parks
When:
7 p.m. Tuesday, June 25
Where: Thomas Farm Community Center, 700 Fallsgrove Dr., Rockville
What: Klezmer, 'Heavy Shtetl' and more.... Part of Rockville’s Free for All in the Parks series. In case of inclement weather, this show will move inside to the Thomas Farm Community Center gym.

Storytime on Lake Needwood: Beavers Gnaw
When: 1 p.m. Friday, June 28
Where: Lake Needwood. Meet at the boathouse, 5700 Needwood Lake Circle, Rockville
What: Take a story time cruise around the lake aboard the Needwood Queen pontoon boat. Each month, park staff will read a different story onboard and look for what’s swimming, soaring, and standing nearby. For children 3 and older. Cost: $2 per adult, $6 for kids; no underage siblings, please. Register at ParkPASS.org

Reception: ‘speed and pressure’

What:  A second reception for the exhibition “speed and pressure,” on view in the Kaplan Gallery (second floor) through July 27.
