In the city | Rockville seeks volunteers to help with national initiative
The City of Rockville needs volunteers to help count bicyclists and pedestrians around the city as part of the National Bicycle and Pedestrian

Documentation Project. Volunteers are needed for shifts on three different dates: Tuesday, Sept. 10, from 5 to 7 p.m.; Wednesday, Sept. 11, from 5 to 7 p.m.; and Saturday, Sept. 14, noon  to 2 p.m. >>> More: Contact Kevin Belanger, the City's bicycle and pedestrian coordinator, at 240-314-8509 or email kbelanger@rockvillemd.gov.

New business | Pigtails & Crewcuts coming to Rockville
Rockville parents will soon have a new place to take the kiddos for a haircut. Children’s salon Pigtails & Crewcuts is expected to open at Town Square on Sept. 10. 

New exhibit | Photography exhibit premieres Sept. 8
