Thanksgiving Closures: What's Open, What's Closed in Rockville

No trash pick-up Thanksgiving Day

Rockville City Hall and other city facilities will be closed on Thanksgiving Day,Thursday, Nov. 28. City Hall and the Senior Center will be closed the day after Thanksgiving. Other facilities will operate on limited schedules.

Glenview Mansion will be closed Thursday through Sunday, Dec. 1.

  • Croydon Creek Nature Center will be open 10 a.m.–2 p.m.
  • Rockville Swim and Fitness Center will close the South Pool, while the North Pool and Fitness Center will be open 6 a.m.–9 p.m.
  • Lincoln Park Community Center, Thomas Farm Community Center and Twinbrook Community Recreation Center will be open 10 a.m.–6 p.m.

Recycling and trash will not be collected Thanksgiving Day. Residents usually scheduled for Thursday collection will have their collection rescheduled for Friday that week. Residents usually scheduled for Friday collection will have their collection rescheduled for Saturday.
