History | 50th anniversary of the March on Washington
Thousands are expected to come to Washington, DC this week to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the March on Washington for Jobs and Freedom. If you’re planning to participate, you’ll find a schedule of events here

Back to school | Today is the first day of school for Montgomery County public schools
Bye-bye summer break. According to MCPS, more than 150,000 students are expected to attend class on the first day of school, which is today—Monday, Aug. 26.
