Navy Veteran Colleen Mulroney Will Lead Rockville’s Veteran’s Day Ceremony

The City of Rockville will hold its Veteran’s Day Ceremony at Veterans Park at 11 a.m. Monday.

This year’s featured speaker is Colleen Mulroney, a Navy veteran and current adjutant of the American Legion Post 86 in Rockville. Mulroney was honored as the Legionnaire of the Year for Montgomery County and the Unit Member of the Year by the American Legion Auxiliary Unit 86 for her achievements and contributions to the veterans and their families in our community.

The observance will include a wreath-laying ceremony and a 21-gun salute by the American Legion Post 86 Honor Guard.

Veterans Park is at the intersection of Route 28 and Rockville Pike. Parking will be available at the Sandy Spring Bank building, located between Fleet Street and Rockville Pike.
