City Council Campaign Kick-Off, Suicide Awareness and a Brand New Blog: Rockville Week in Preview

What to have on your radar this week in Rockville.

Politics | Don Hadley kicks off campaign
The Rockville City Council hopeful held his official campaign kick-off event Sunday at Dawson’s Market at Rockville Town Square. Hadley, who’s chairman of the city’s Planning Commission, was one of the last-minute filers to enter the race.

“All we're asking for is a seat at the table, some chance to express different ideas so that the people have a different input than four people on a slate. That's not Democracy. It's as principled as that. We're running on principal,” Hadley said Sunday.
