Rockville Volunteers Hit the Road for Voter Registration

Saturday's daylong drive will visit six sites across the city.

 

Volunteers will fan out across the city on Saturday registering Rockville residents to vote.

The City of Rockville’s voter van will be at the following locations between 9 a.m. and 8:30 p.m. on Saturday, the city announced on its website:

  • : 9 to 10:30 a.m.
  • : 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
  • : 1 to 2:30 p.m.
  • : 3 to 4:30 p.m.
  • restaurant: 5 to 6:30 p.m.
  • East Montgomery Avenue (along the sidewalk close to ): 7-8:30 p.m.

Citizens age 16 and older are eligible to register (but must be 18 years old to vote). Registrants must have proof of citizenship, such as a photo ID or license. Absentee ballot applications will also be available.

The deadline in Maryland to register to vote in the Nov. 6 election is Oct. 16.
