An Online Admission Open House

It’s often difficult to take a day off of work or leave the kids at home to visit a school for an admission open house.  Christ Episcopal School (CES), located in historic Rockville, MD has solved that problem.  The school will host an online open house on Tuesday, October 22 at 12:00 pm for parents interested in the preschool 2’s to grade 8 program.

“It’s important to visit more than one school, but unrealistic to take off multiple days to visit them,” said CES Director of Admission, Trevor Waddington, “We’ve designed an online open house where guests can learn about CES from their work station, office or the comfort of their home while enjoying their lunch.  If it seems like a great fit for their child, then we hope parents can come for an in person meeting to get a feel for what their child will experience and answer their specific questions.”

This specific program is entitled Lunch with LIFT as Dr. Caroline Chapin, CES Head of School, will lead a presentation about their signature curriculum delivery model LIFT: Learning Integration For Tomorrow™.  LIFT was developed in conjunction with Johns Hopkins University’s Center for Technology in Education.  The goal of LIFT is to prepare each student to be a leader in their field by giving them the skills necessary to thrive in the 21st century.  This program, exclusive to CES, places students in high-performance teams to solve real world problems and incorporates cutting-edge technology at the fingertips of each student.
