Tuesday ‘Free For All’ Starts Tonight in Rockville

Free summer series in Rockville's neighborhood parks.

Iosea and the Pacific Island Dancers will kick off Rockville’s Free for All in the Parks series with a luau at Montrose Park, 451 Congressional Ln., the city announced Monday.

The show begins at 7 p.m.

Bring blankets, lawn chairs, bug repellent and a picnic dinner.

Free for All in the Parks showcases family friendly performances set in Rockville’s neighborhood parks. All shows are free and open to the public. Here are other Free for All in the Parks events scheduled this summer:

  • Lox & Vodka —Jewish soul music. 7 p.m. June 25 at the Thomas Farm Community Center (TFCC), 700 Fallsgrove Dr.. In case of inclement weather, the performance will move inside to the TFCC gym.
  • Bumper Jacksons —The “hot and sweet” music of New Orleans. 7 p.m. July 9 at Calvin Park, 1248 Gladstone Dr.
  • Billy Finch Stage Show—Singer, impersonator and comedian. The show also features the lovely and talented Minerva. 7 p.m. July 16 at the Rockville Senior Center, 1150 Carnation Dr. In case of inclement weather, please call 240-314-8682 after 4 p.m. on the day of the show.
