VIDEO: Wrestlers Win, Place at County Championships
Wootton and Magruder were a common sight in the tournament finals.
The county's 4A/3A wrestling championships, held Friday and Saturday at Montgomery Blair High School in Silver Spring, featured wrestlers from Thomas S. Wootton High School or Col. Zadok Magruder High School in eight of 14 finals.
Wootton finished second in the team standings, behind Damascus High School, as the tournament celebrated its 50th anniversary.
