Rockville Man's Shirt Wins Orioles Contest

Scott Thompson's shirt depicts the Orioles post-win shaving cream pie.

Orioles fans spoke, and a Rockville man won.

Scott Thompson's design was voted the winner in the Orioles contest, beating two other top designs for the chance to be printed and handed out to fans before the team's Sept. 26 contest against the Toronto Blue Jays.

Thompson also won four tickets and a parking pass for the game. He said in an email he was assisted by Kevin Morgan, a Rockville native and Baltimore middle school teacher.

The shirt depicts a sight familiar to Orioles fans: a player wearing a MASN headset after a win with a face freshly covered in a shaving cream pie.

The Baltimore Sun first reported Thompson's win.

Thompson clarified in an email that Kevin Morgan was a co-designer on the winning shirt. Patch regrets the omission.
