Rockville Basketball Playoff Roundup

Magruder's state title hopes are still alive after a win over Churchill.

With the Maryland state playoffs winding down, it's time to take a look at how the Rockville teams fared over the past week.

Magruder:

The boys basketball team is still alive and will face Springbrook at 1 p.m. on Saturday at Montgomery Blair High School in Silver Spring in the 4A West regional final. Magruder beat Paint Branch 72-51 and Churchill 62-55 to get to this point. The Colonels were led by Nick Griffin who hit seven three pointers and scored 30 points against Churchill.
