Great Falls Geology Walk

Rockville Science Center hosts a Geology Walk Field Trip from Great Falls Overlook Maryland to Mather Gorge on the Potomac River.

The walk is limited to to ages 8 and up, with a limit of 22 persons. Prepare for an easy walk on the towpath, bridges and boardwalks; however, the last two moderately strenuous stops on Billy Goat Trail are optional. Bring water, snacks, operational camera, and dress for the weather.

To sign up for the trip please fill out the registration form, and attach as email to Explorations@RockvilleScienceCenter.org. You will then fill out the waiver form and mail or scan/fax form.
