Kliwon International Indonesian Martial Arts Center
The recently opened Kliwon International Indonesian Martial Arts Center in Rockville, Md. is an institution dedicated to preserving and growing the ancient art of Pencak Silat through a full curriculum of education and tutelage. It is Kliwon International's intent to teach you traditional Pencak Silat from all aspects that includes culture, self-defense, weapons, inner power and the artistic aspect. Until now, this form of martial arts was only offered at the embassy. They are an affiliation of Pencak Silat Al-Azhar.
