Montgomery County Public Schools and all administrative offices are closed today due to emergency weather conditions, according to a news release. All school and community activities in school buildings are canceled.

Due to today’s expected three-to-seven inch snowfall, Montgomery County's government is open with liberal leave for non-essential county employees. Liberal leave means that non-essential employees may use unscheduled annual leave, paid time off, leave without pay or compensatory leave without prior supervisory approval.

The County’s 311 online and telephone information system is open. The 311 self-service website is also available around the clock at MC311.com. For non-emergency police assistance, call the police non-emergency number, (301) 279-8000.
