Accomplishment: Awarded a $1,000 college grant by the Rockville Scholarship Foundation, Inc. for her academic achievements.

Key to success: "Organization—just the will to want to do it," Lee said. "I just have to be extremely organized with my time and my efforts and just have the drive to get the degree. That's my ultimate goal. It's something I didn't get to accomplish when I'm younger and it's my focus, it's what I'm putting all my energies into right now."

Lee majors in accounting at Montgomery College and upon completing her studies, hopes to become a Certified Public Accountant who helps small businesses. She works part-time at Kmart and is the mother of two children. She also previously lead a Mothers & More group in Sykesville.

Advice to others seeking Rockville Scholarship Foundation Awards grant: "Just work really hard, do your best in school and also give back to the community," Lee said. "Because the commmunity is who is giving me most of my money to go to school. Right now I only have my time and effort to give back to them and hopefully, when I have more money, I'll be able to give that in return to them as well."
