The historic 19th-century home features music and decorated trees on the next two Sundays.

The beautiful and historic opened its doors on Sunday to the first of three holiday open house days.

The Rockville tradition draws nearly 3,000 people to the mansion each year for live music, art and holiday decor. The 19th-century mansion's 30 rooms are decorated by more than a dozen Rockville community groups under the theme "Get Into the Holiday Spirit."

Sunday's debut featured live music by the Rockville Singers, the Harmony Express Mens A Capella Chrous and The Encore Singers.
