RamPace 5K and One Mile Family Fun Run

  • Where:  2100 Baltimore Rd, Rockville, MD
  • When:  Saturday, Nov. 17, 2012, 8 a.m.
  • Description:  5K race starts at Rockville High School, travels up Baltimore Road to the Civic Center and back. Also a family-friendly one-mile fun run goes around the school track.  Proceeds go to Rockville High School's nationally award-winning newspaper, The Rampage.
  • Cost: $15.00

 

"Metalwork 2012" Exhibit

  • Where: VisArts, 155 Gibbs St, Rockville, MD
  • When:  Saturday, Nov. 17, 12 p.m.
  • Description:  Jewelry, hollowware, small sculpture, and functional art created by members of the Washington Guild of Goldsmiths. 
  • Cost:  Free 

 

46th Annual Garrett Park Craft Fair

 

Sugarloaf Crafts Festival

  • Where: 16 Chestnut Street, Gaithersburg
  • When:  Friday, Nov. 16, 10 a.m. – 6 p.m.
  • Description:  Hand-crafted crafts, art, jewelry and more on display and for sale.
  • Cost: $10.00

 

Fall Festival

  • Where: Argyle Country Club, 14600 Argyle Club Rd, Silver Spring
  • When:  Friday, Nov. 16, 6 p.m. – 10 p.m.
  • Description:  Event includes a marketplace of diverse offerings, a silent auction and a beer and wine tasting.
  • Cost: Free

 

Holiday Open House

  • Where:  Butler's Orchard, 22200 Davis Mill Rd, Germantown
  • When:  Saturday, Nov. 17 and Sunday, Nov. 18, 12 p.m. – 4 p.m.
  • Description:  Hayrides, marshmallow roasting, live holiday music, hot chocolate and cider, Santa and more.

Legally Blonde

  • Where:  James Hubert Blake High School, 300 Norwood Rd, Colesville, MD
  • When:  Friday, Nov. 16, 7:30 p.m. and Saturday, Nov. 17, 7:30 p.m.
  • Description:  Students at James Hubert Blake High School present Legally Blonde, a story about Elle, a fashion design grad student who follows her ex-boyfriend to Harvard Law School.
  • Cost: $12.00

 

Paint Branch Perspectives Present: Harvey

  • Where: Paint Branch High School, 14121 Old Columbia Pike, Burtonsville, MD
  • When:  Friday, Nov. 16, 7 p.m. and Saturday, Nov. 17, 7 p.m.
  • Description:  Students at Paint Branch High School present Harvey, a comedy about a man who is friends with a six-foot-rabbit not everyone can see.
  • Cost: $7.00
