Rockville Community Nursery School (RCNS)  is a cooperative, parent-owned, non-sectarian school that offers a variety of morning classes for 2-, 3-, and 4-year-old children, as well as a parent/child class for young 2s. An optional lunch program is also available several days a week for children enrolled in our 3- and 4-year-old classes. As a cooperative school, our parents play a vital role -- we run the school by serving in administrative positions and we take turns assisting the teachers and children in daily classroom activities. We cooperate to provide the parental support that is vital to a truly successful educational experience, and forming strong, caring bonds among families.

Our small class sizes ensure each child receives the individual nurturing and guidance needed to develop to his or her full potential. Perhaps best of all, RCNS provides a truly family-centered environment and a strong community for kids and parents alike.
