Rockville Science Cafe

This month's Rockville Science Cafe topic is entitled, "A Fly in the Ointment: What Insects Can Teach Us About Human Health and Disease!" hosted by Dr. Kelly G. Ten Hagen, Chief at the Development Glycobiology Unit, NIDCR National Institutes of Health.

Many researchers are using the fruit fly to identify the underlying causes of these diseases in an effort to develop better treatments for human patients.  This talk will highlight some of the ongoing work in this field and how this amazing insect can improve human health.
