Invasive Plant Pull - Dawson Farm Park in Rockville

Rockville will hold an invasive plant pull for English ivy on Saturday June 11, 2011 from 9am-noon in Dawson Farm Park. Learn about English Ivy and why we need to control it. Registration is required; please contact Amanda Matheny at amatheny@rockvillemd.gov, 240-314-8877 to sign-up. SSL hours can be awarded for participation. Adult participants can bring pruning shears or hand clippers if available. It is suggested that participants wear long pants, a long sleeve shirt and closed-toe shoes. In the event of inclement weather this event will be canceled. Meet at the park entrance near the corner of Brice Road and Ritchie Parkway.
