Mayor of Pinneberg to visit Rockville

MAYOR OF PINNEBERG GERMANY TO VISIT ROCKVILLE

 From October 4 to October 12, 2013, the Rockville Sister City Corporation (RSCC) and the Mayor and Council of Rockville will host Urte Steinberg, Mayor of Pinneberg our Sister City, and Bernd Hinrichs, President of the German American Society Rockville-Pinneberg (DAGRP),

 On October 5, the Mayor and members of the Pinneberg delegation will join the RSCC and the Mayor and Council at the annual German-American Day dinner from 7 pm to 9:30 pm at the Golden Bull Grand Café, Gaithersburg, Md.  Mayor Steinberg will be guest of honor.  This event is open to the public and reservations are required.

 On October 7 at the Mayor and Council meeting at City Hall at 7 pm, the Mayor and Council will welcome the Mayor and Pinneberg delegation.  The Mayor and Council will award the Pinneberg Mayor and delegation certificates and a Rockville Flag.

 On October 7 from 6:30-7.00 pm, in the Black-Eyed Susan Conference room at City Hall, the Mayor and Council will hold an informal reception for the Mayor and Pinneberg delegation.  This reception is open to the public.

 The Mayor and Pinneberg delegation will stay with host families in Rockville during their visit.  The group will participate in events and activities and visit sites in Rockville, and Montgomery County, and Washington D.C.
