In a news release, Montgomery County Executive Isiah Legget called EMMES a “pillar” of the local economy. Rockville Mayor Phyllis Marcuccio said the city was looking forward to working with EMMES.

“We are delighted that EMMES, one of our major employers, has elected not only to remain in our city, but to enlarge and upgrade its space,” Marcuccio said in the release.
