Rockville Scholars: Andrés Antuna

Rockville resident will pursue paralegal studies at Montgomery College.

 

Andrés Antuna was awarded a $2,000 college grant from the Rockville Scholarship Foundation, Inc.

Antuna is pursuing his goal to become an attorney, beginning as a Paralegal Studies student at Montgomery College. A former Montgomery County Teen Court member, Antuna said he has always been interested in the justice system and hopes to use his experiences to make the community a better place.

In high school, Antuna maintained a 4.0 grade point average and was a member of the National Society of High School Scholars. He is an active member of the Green Club at Montgomery College and enjoys swimming.
