O’Malley Appoints Fraser-Hidalgo to Fill Montgomery County Delegate Seat
David V. Fraser-Hidalgo takes over for Senator Brian Feldman of Potomac—tapped by O'Malley to replace former Sen. Robert Garagiola.
David V. Fraser-Hidalgo was appointed delegate by Gov. Martin O’Malley to fill the vacant District 15 seat, which represents northern Montgomery County.
The governor’s office made the announcement Wednesday.
Fraser-Hidalgo is filling the vacancy left by Senator Brian Feldman of Potomac—tapped by O’Malley to replace former Sen. Robert Garagiola, who resigned in September.

The Montgomery County Democratic Central Committee submitted Fraser-Hidalgo’s name to O’Malley earlier this month.
